Job description
A contract opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with expertise in teletherapy, specifically within school settings. This role offers the chance to deliver teletherapy services to a high school student population with diverse communication needs.Location:
Teletherapy assignment supporting a high school in Alabama.
Responsibilities Include
Providing specialized voice and speech therapy services via telepractice.
Managing a caseload of approximately 50 students with varied speech and language disorders.
Collaborating remotely with educational staff to enhance student communication outcomes.
Maintaining accurate records and documentation according to professional and school standards.
Qualifications
Current and valid SLP licensure required; SLPA candidates will not be considered.
Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
Experience delivering teletherapy services within a school environment essential.
Strong organizational skills to manage an extensive caseload remotely.
Excellent communication skills to interface effectively with students, families, and school personnel.
Contract Details
Full-time commitment of 37.5 hours per week.
Duration:
Immediate start through May 2026.
Position focused on voice therapy services via telepractice for one high school.
