    Position Summary:


    We are looking for an experienced Electronics Technician to be part of our dynamic team. At Rekor, we specialize in the installation and maintenance of in-road traffic sensors and off-road components, offering services across multiple states.

    The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in hardware and software deployment within the tech industry. We seek an enthusiastic individual with a keen interest in transportation technology and the acumen to provide cutting-edge solutions.

    Role and Responsibilities:

    • Travel within SC and beyond to attend to service calls
    • Conduct Pre and Post Construction site inspections to evaluate installation requirements
    • Install, configure, and maintain traffic data collection equipment
    • Identify and resolve technical issues with data equipment
    • Calibrate equipment for accuracy and perform quality control checks
    • Ensure accurate data collection from traffic devices

    Qualifications and Education Requirements:

    • Experience in Electronics Field
    • Proficiency in electronic test equipment

    Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    • Strong planning, communication, and collaboration skills
    • Ability to adapt to changing priorities
    • Excellent technical aptitude
    • Capability to interpret technical data
    • CJIS Certification preferred
    • Familiarity with IP Cameras

    Physical Demands:

    • Ability to lift heavy batteries
    • Flexible availability for daytime and nighttime work
    • Valid driver's license
    • Comfortable working outdoors in diverse weather conditions
