    A creative and innovative craft brewery in Garland, TX is on the lookout for a part-time HR Manager to work in a flexible position that blends remote and hybrid work In this role, you will take the lead on HR responsibilities by managing payroll (including tips) and the full staffing cycle, which involves cultural development, onboarding/offboarding, and other essential HR functions. Ideally, candidates should be available to come onsite at least once per week during business hours and be comfortable operating independently within a lively and fun work environment This position is perfect for someone who s got a passion for craft beer and is looking to pick up an extra 10 hours per week or so in a remote/hybrid work arrangement

    Pay Range: $30 - $40/hr DOE

    Responsibilities:

    • Prepare and process payroll for employees using QuickBooks Desktop, ensuring accuracy in wages and tips
    • Manage performance by responding to emails within 24 hours, issuing write-ups, and creating performance improvement plans
    • Coordinate cross-training to enhance team coverage and assist in recruiting for positions such as bartenders and brewers
    • Oversee employee scorecards and performance reviews, linking compensation directly to performance metrics
    • Work closely with managers to align employee goals with broader company objectives, ensuring compensation reflects performance
    • Conduct regular market and industry compensation surveys to ensure our pay scales remain competitive
    • Implement, manage, and monitor employee performance scorecards and KPIs, connecting daily activities to company success
    • Oversee the entire staffing cycle: from creating job descriptions and posting jobs to conducting interviews and managing the onboarding/offboarding process
    • Coordinate and improve training and development programs, focusing on aligning individual goals with company objectives
    • Maintain meticulous records management and adhere strictly to HR policies
    Requirements:
    • 2-3 years of HR experience, including expertise in payroll, cultural development, onboarding/offboarding, and employee relations
    • Skilled in QuickBooks Enterprise and Microsoft Suite, especially Excel
    • Previous experience with payroll including tips is preferred
    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred but not required
    • Familiarity with Bamboo HR for onboarding/offboarding and employee documentation is beneficial
    • Self-motivated and capable of managing the HR function independently
    • Strategic in thought, with a knack for introducing and implementing new ideas and processes
    • Attention to detail, especially in payroll accuracy and tip calculation
    • Able to work solo, comfortable engaging with all management levels
    • Flexible and adaptable, open to occasional onsite work
