Job summary
The Grants Development and Compliance Analyst will report to the Director of Grants Development and Compliance. The candidate will be responsible for identifying, applying, and ensuring compliance for additional grant dollars to support both new and continuing work of its many programs.Duties Will Include But Not Be Limited To Collaborating with divisions within DOHMH to learn programmatic functions and strategize and identify programmatic resource needs. Proactively research, identify, and apply for new non-city funding opportunities to support growing agency public health and mental health programming needs.Form new partnerships with grantors.Comply with all necessary requirements by grantors and oversight agencies in accordance with all federal,state,and grantor regulations.Assist program partners in understanding applicable funder regulationsand policies; maintain thorough understanding of all funder-specific requirements.Collaborate with existing DOHMH partners to monitorand track agency resources.Exercise independent judgment use discretionand organizational savvy coordinate multipleand diverse projects respond quicklyto changing conditions complete tasksin a short turnaround timeframe manage the logisticsof diverse projectsand work streamsidentifyand address issues supervisea small team.Document progress of projects; Identify potential challengeswith project deadlines-and-the gathering-of-quantitative-and-qualitative-data.Make recommendationsfor a corrective action plan as needed so that assigned projects remain on target-and-deliverables are metboth atthe divisionaland inter-agency level.Facilitate meetingsincluding by senioragency-and-divisionstaff.Agenda preparationrecordingofminutesmonitoring-followingup-for action items strong facilitation-to assure meeting desired outcomesare achievedGenerating management reportsPowerPoint presentations briefing documents memos letters -andevery other-materials using professional language-with-a-high attention-todetail-understanding-of audience--desired-outcomes.Tracking updates-timelines-for completion-ofdivisionalprojects-thataffectthedesigndesign,-planning,- implementation-new-publichealth initiatives-agency-wide-policies procedures.Responding-to resolveconfidentialandsensitive-inquiries.Provide guidanceto other departments agencies.Maintaining-confidentiality-asdirected.Acting-representativeon committees special-related-projectsotheractivities-as-assigned.
