    • Responsible for preparing, wrapping, weighing, pricing, and merchandising the department's deli products.
    • Slicing deli meats, cheeses, preparing and serving salads, making sandwiches, and serving a variety of food items. Working with equipment like a fryer, pizza oven, slicer, and rotisserie oven.
    • Exceptional customer service with knowledge about deli products and recommending additional items to customers to help increase sale.
    • Deli clerk works with sharp and potentially dangerous equipment daily-whether the deli slicer, oven, or high-temperature dishwasher, they are required to work safely and effectively with all kitchen equipment.
    Qualifications
    • Food handler's certification preferable.
    • Knowledge of department cleanliness and follow food certification regulations.
    • Ability to lift 40-50 lbs.
    • Heavy lifting, stooping & bending.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Minimum age of 18.
