- Setup machine accurately in accordance with proper setup techniques.
- Monitor quality, including, but not limited to, loose liner, warp, correct size, and print.
- Cross train on other machines and switch duties as needed.
- Turn in maintenance work orders to supervision for needed repairs, be proactive in the maintenance of equipment.
- Operate the machine at expectation levels for quality and production.
- Maximize the utilization of equipment by operating the machinery at available capacity and speed.
- Practice safe work habits always.
- Make recommendations for optimizing the production schedule to meet cost, quality, and service goals.
- Train and assist Help/Assistant with job duties at the machine.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and maintaining good housekeeping.
- Ability to work overtime as the business requires.
- Ability to trouble shoot issues on machine to minimize downtime and material waste.

- At least 1 year of manufacturing experience is preferred. Corrugated packaging experience is preferred, not required.
- Ability to add, to subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to use a tape measure; and to use a computer.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and employees of the organization.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
