    Erie Family Health Centers, a top workplace in Chicago and suburbs, is looking for a valuable addition to our Community Health Registered Nurse Team Erie Family Health Centers is seeking a part time Community Health RN to provide essential clinical support to patient care activities utilizing nursing education, assessment, and procedural skills.

    Main Duties & Responsibilities
    • Collaborates with providers in the delivery of patient care.
    • Performs triage assessment process of walk-in patients and telephone calls.
    • Delivers health education related to medication, diet, treatment of diagnosis, health promotion, prevention and exit health teaching.
    • Administers immunizations, applicable contraception refills, and medications as ordered by provider.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.
    Qualifications

    Education
    • Current Illinois RN licensure required.
    • Current BLS for Healthcare Provider CPR certification required.
    • One to two years' experience in community health nursing or ambulatory care preferred.
    Skills and Knowledge
    • Bilingual dependent on site and the patients served at that site. (May be required to assist or work with non-English/Spanish only speaking patients and/or guests.)
