    This position reports directly to the Director of Patient Services.

    Highlighted ResponsibilitiesCompletes dispensary operational requirements by maintaining an organized workflowMaintains vigilance for patient medication safetyAssists patients and families through the dispensary processProvides information by answering questions and requests of health care professionals and patientsComplies with state law and regulationsParticipates in record-keeping and reporting necessary for State complianceAdheres to infection-control standards such as hand washingMaintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulationsContributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as neededProtects patient safety regarding cannabis medication useHelp patients determine the best treatment course under the supervision of a registered pharmacistProvides exceptional customer service to medical cannabis patientsMaintains cash register and accountability for assigned drawerCompletes opening/closing proceduresUtilizes computer systems appropriately for daily operationsReceives incoming orders, shipments, and deliveriesSchedules appointments, assists with refilling orders and creating new patient orders/salesUtilizes different software applications to set up patient appointments, refills, and home deliveriesResponds to all patient inquiries via phone, email or other methods of communication as assigned.

    Performs dispensary maintenance/cleaning duties as assigned.
    Attends staff meetings, continuing education, training, etc.

    as directedPreferred QualificationsPreferred experience in both clinical and retail settingsDemonstrated experience and impeccable interpersonal skills involved in the service industry and able to apply these to a patient population with debilitating illnessExperience in record keeping preferredExperience as a receptionist or office manager is preferred.

    Must be at least 21 years of age.
