    Job Summary Qualifications:

    Must hold valid Alabama Certification in the field of Educational Administration and SupervisionMust have a strong educational background with a minimum of three years of teaching experienceMust have school leadership experience, preferably in an elementary school settingMust have positive people skills, good organizational skills, and the ability to help supervise both large and small groupsMust be able to follow directives and help direct the focus of the total school programMust provide evidence of professional development activities relating to current educational trendsDuties/Responsibilities:Assist the principal as they direct, supervise, and coordinate all programsProvide strong leadership in the total school program Implement a strong curriculum-based environment following the State Course of StudyFacilitate professional development of school staff membersLength of Contract/Terms:Ten (10) monthsCompensation:As per Board salary schedule for this positionThis position will be subject to the Students First Act of 2011.
