    Description

    Job Title: Registered Nurse - Operating Room Charge Nurse

    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as an Operating Room Charge Nurse. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • To provide exceptional patient care and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless surgical experiences.
    • To lead and manage a team of OR nurses, promoting a culture of safety, respect, and open communication.
    • To develop and implement effective strategies to improve patient outcomes, efficiency, and productivity.
    • To collaborate with physicians, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and treatments.
    • To maintain accurate records, reports, and data entry related to patient care and unit operations.
    • To stay up-to-date with the latest medical procedures, technologies, and research findings to enhance patient care.
    • To participate in quality improvement initiatives, audits, and performance evaluations.

    Requirements:

    • AADegree or higher from an accredited school of nursing
    • Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the state of Oregon
    • At least [X] years of experience in the OR setting, preferably as a charge nurse
    • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
