    Description

    Job Title: Electronic Security Systems Technician

    Company: SecureTech Innovations

    Position Summary: In this role, your main task will be to set up and keep electronic security systems in optimal condition. This includes carrying out routine maintenance, conducting inspections, evaluations, and managing inventory effectively.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Leading teams in the installation of small to moderately complex projects
    • Conducting and documenting daily toolbox talks
    • Installing head end equipment locally and globally according to design specifications
    • Programming head end equipment for Access Control, Intrusion Detection, and CCTV systems
    • Troubleshooting and isolating system and hardware issues at both local and global levels
    • Providing on-site software commissioning and testing

    Position / Candidate Requirements:

    • Must hold a valid driver's license
    • May involve using a company vehicle periodically

    Education:

    • High School diploma or GED
    • Military Electronics Training (minimum 720 classroom hours) or
    • Graduation from an accredited Electronics Technician program or
    • Graduation from an Electrical Apprenticeship program or
    • Additional three (3) years of electronics installation and maintenance

    Required Progressive Experience:

    • 4-6 years of electronics installation and maintenance across various systems and customer programs
    • Minimum 3 years of experience focusing on electronic security systems
    • Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills
    • Proven ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams
    • Effective time management and organizational skills
    • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint (bonus)

    Desired / Advantageous Qualifications:

    • Vendor certifications in multiple IDS, ACS, and CCTV systems
    • Experience with various systems such as Identiv/Hirsch Velocity, Bosch Radionics, AIphone Intercom Systems, and more
    • Physical Abilities/Requirements:
    • Lifting up to 100 pounds and 60 pounds for extended periods
    • Operating a 12-foot ladder independently
    • Working at heights up to 60 feet and maintaining balance
    • Performing various physical tasks routinely
    • Having good color vision and communication skills in English
