Shift: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

• Must have at least 34 months of Cardiac Cath Lab experience.

• Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

• Trauma Level 2 experience is preferred from any number of months

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license (required after submission).

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Medical declinations accepted.

• 6 months gap required between for Any Contract Type at Program: Aya Program - James Cancer Hospital and Research and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - James Cancer Hospital and Research.

Required Skills/Experience: Diagnostic Cardiac Cath lab, Electrophysiology (EP) Lab, Interventional Cardiac Cath lab, Cardiac Stent Placement, Diagnostic Catheterizations Adult, IABP Placement/Removal, Interventional Catheterizations, Left heart catheterization, Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI), Right heart catheterization, Insertion/Programming of AICDs, Pacemaker Insertion, Vascular Studies/Procedures, IV therapy, Blood Product Administration, Starting and maintaining IVs, IV infusion pumps, PICC Lines - Care and Maintenance, Professional Knowledge and Skills, Infection Prevention, Interpretation/Management of Dysrhythmias, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Monitoring Procedural Sedation, Pressure Ulcer Assessment/Prevention, Activated Clotting Time (ACT), Obtain 12 lead EKG/ECG, Cardioversion, Circulate Procedures, Medications, Antiarrhythmics, Antihypertensives, Emergency Medications, IV vasopressors, Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring, Reversal agents.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Previous Charge and Community Hospital Experience.
• Preferred Skills: Hybrid OR, Interventional Radiology, Pre Post Procedure, Special Procedures, Impella insertion, Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz monitoring, Scrub Procedures, Baseline Measurements, Cardioversion, Scrub Procedures, Angioplasty, Assist with Central Line Insertion/management, End-Tidal CO2 monitoring, Sheath Removal/Monitoring, Vascular Closure Systems (Perclose, StarClose).

Required Credentials: Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.

Shift & Scheduling: Monday - Friday with Call Required (Call is one night a week and every 4th weekend); To be determined depending on skill set.

Other Requirements:

• References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.
• You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Can not apply to any James Cancer Hospital & Research facilities if you have an active application to any of the Ohio State University facilities.

14 days maximum time off. Start assignment restriction: 7 days
