- Supervise and coordinate all on-site construction activities from project initiation to completion.
- Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, building codes, and other regulatory requirements.
- Manage and schedule subcontractors, labor, and materials efficiently to maintain project timelines and budget.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and safety standards are met or exceeded.
- Resolve any construction-related issues, conflicts, or discrepancies that may arise during the project lifecycle.
- Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, and change orders.
- Provide regular progress updates to management and participate in project meetings.
- Manage and enforce site safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.
- Train, mentor, and supervise construction teams to maintain high-quality workmanship and productivity.
- Collaborate with the project manager to forecast project needs, including manpower, materials, and equipment.
- Oversee the implementation of sustainable construction practices, when applicable.
- Perform other duties as assigned by senior management.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience (X years) working as a Construction Superintendent in residential construction.
- In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various job sites as required.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 60 pounds) and perform duties in various weather conditions.
- Physical agility to navigate construction sites, climb ladders, and access confined spaces
