    Description

    Position: Entry Level Warehouse Associate


    Ferguson, a leading distributor in North America, specializes in serving various markets such as residential, non-residential, new construction, and repair, maintenance, and improvement (RMI).

    Ferguson is currently looking for an entry level Warehouse Associate to join their team.


    Schedule:
    Monday to Friday, 7am-4pm

    Responsibilities

    • Safely operate a stand-up forklift (order selector/cherry picker) to pull and prepare outbound customer orders.

    • Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages.

    • Utilize technology such as RF devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders.

    • Receive, verify, stage, and stock incoming materials accurately and in a timely manner.

    • Maintain cleanliness in the workspace and actively participate in keeping the facility clean, safe, and accident-free.

    • Take on back-up driving duties and responsibilities as needed.

    Qualifications

    • 0-3 years of warehouse experience in shipping, receiving, delivery, or inventory management preferred.

    • Minimum age requirement of 18 years.

    • Valid state-issued license.

    • High attention to detail.

    • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

    • Positive attitude, dependability, and a strong work ethic.

    • Self-motivated with the ability to quickly learn new systems.

    • Continuous focus on enhancing system efficiencies and business practices.

    • Capability to lift items weighing up to 50lbs regularly.

    • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.

    • Pre-employment drug and background screening are mandatory.
