    Job Description Description:

    JOB PURPOSE The job purpose of the Maintenance Engineer is to manage all repair and preventive maintenance activities associated with the injection-molding and CNC Machining departments.

    KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Diagnose and repair electrical issues with Injection Molding equipment Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with Injection Molding equipment Ability to utilize electrical schematics and manuals to troubleshoot equipment Responsible for the repair, installation, and upkeep of all equipment in Molding and Machining departments Manage the daily maintenance activities of the Molding and Machining Departments Develop and Implement Preventive maintenance procedures for all Molding and CNC equipment.

    Develop process and systems for the efficient use of machines, and materials Coordinates planning and scheduling for all maintenance of equipment in the molding and Machining departments Maintain spare parts inventory for all injection-molding machines and auxiliary equipment for the molding department Maintain spare parts inventory for CNC machines and auxiliary equipment for the Machining department Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues with the robots Must adhere to all company policies Must have a basic understanding of quality management systems related to ISO 13485 Must have a basic understanding of Work Instructions and their related data collection documents (e.g., run sheets) Provide technical assistance to molding department and tool room Strives for efficient use of materials, and employees Schedule and coordinate all outside service providers to perform required Calibrations and other required services to minimize production downtime.

    Maintain accurate maintenance records for all Molding and CNC Equipment Train and develop Maintenance Technicians I, II, and III, promote employee understanding and adherence to safety regulations Conduct periodic performance reviews of Maintenance Technicians I, II, and III Requirements:

    JOB QUALIFICATIONS OF MAINTENANCE ENGINEER High School diploma or GED preferred 5 years' experience performing equipment maintenance Ability to read, analyze and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics.

    Ability to read and comprehend written work instructions Ability to understand verbal instructions Basic computer skills to input daily information Physically capable of lifting 50 pounds safely and without injury.

    Ability to work with mathematical concepts with respect to part geometry, statistics, and technical reports. Ability to program molding machine robots. PM21 PIcd3e4271cffe
