- Communicate with clients, team members, and opposing counsel to answer questions, and disseminate or explain information
- Effectively delegate paralegal and administrative tasks when appropriate
- Review client files, records, and other documents to obtain information as needed
- Review facts and evidence and assist in the evaluation of facts and evidence
- Research legal questions
- Locate and interview witnesses
- Draft pleadings, memoranda, and legal briefs for firm clients
- Review pleadings to be filed
- Prepare for hearings, trials, and appear in court when needed, and handle special projects
- Accurately bill 6.2 hours daily, for a minimum of 130 hours per month
- Support the other attorneys and paralegals with legal tasks as needed
- Comprehend and analyze large amounts of data and other information, such as records or reports
- Must practice law and represent the Firm with integrity and compassion
- Must be willing to execute a confidentiality and social media policy
- Complete a Clifton Strengths Assessment
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Must be able to propound, review, and prepare responses to discovery
- Must be able to interface with clients
- Must be able to communicate and work efficiently and effectively with staff and managing attorney
- Must be able to prioritize work while remaining focused on deadlines
- Must be able to work independently on multiple projects and matters with minor supervision
- Must possess strong organization skills; know the status of matters assigned, accurately maintain and manage online files and client portal
