Industrial Enginee r comes from a technical manufacturing background that has strong computer (proficient in Excel, CMMS & ERP) skills along with prior experience working on/leading cost reduction products.
Industrial Engineer Requirements:
Associates or Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering (or other engineering field).

Industrial Engineer Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include cost estimating, methods analysis, time and motion studies, facilities layout, and economic and engineering studies of processes, machinery, and equipment.
You'll analyze workplace layouts and procedures, perform time studies, and evaluate performance to develop standard data in accordance with the companies standards.
This position prioritizes safety and quality and takes initiative to minimize delays and enhance production.Maintain work standards documentation and audit work standards to ensure content, time, and cost accuracy.
Summarize data and calculate costs for new or transferred work for CER completion.
Prepare input data or final cost figures for new and revised casting master records.
Revise various incentive reports to ensure proper reporting and incentive payment calculations, reporting discrepancies as they arise.
Communicate with incentive employees by providing explanations and feedback.
Plan and complete, or support the completion of assigned projects and studies, including process changes, plant and work station layouts, work sampling, delays, etc.
to reduce costs and/or improve efficiency, presenting findings and recommendations.Ensure process documentation is current and properly maintained.
Apply methods engineering analysis techniques to all aspects of plant operations and recommend methods changes based on analysis.
Guide and assist Methods Study Teams (MSTs) by participating in team activities, giving feedback on MST recommendations, and monitoring and assisting with project implementations.
