    This position provides accounting support and analysis with emphasis on Accounts Receivable for the corporate group and distribution facility.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    • Accounts Receivable processing including reconciling bank statement with Accounts Receivable Accounts
    • Research and resolve problems pertaining to customers and invoicing issues.
    • Collection of Past Due Accounts Receivable from customers.
    • Daily application of cash
    • Establishes and maintains relationships with new and existing customers.
    • Fosters positive relationships with internal customers.
    • Handles accounts receivable for separate entities and customers.
    • Ensures customer invoices are paid in a timely and accurate manner, while adhering to department procedures
    • Complies with federal, state, local and anti-trust requirements and regulations including communication of concerns or unethical activities.
    • Protects operations by keeping business strategies, trade secrets, employee payroll information and financials confidential.
    All other duties and responsibilities as assigned with opportunity for growth within the organization

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES
    • Strong interpersonal and organization skills a must
    • Ability to work independently, prioritize and multi-task
    • PC skills including Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
    • Critical thinking, analysis, and math skills
    • Strong work ethic and reliability
    • Attention to detail.
    • Flexibility and willingness to help where needed
    TRAINING and EXPERIENCE
    • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree, Accounting or Finance
    • Minimum of one year experience in related work preferred
    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS (any specific physical attributes or limiting factors to be accounted for):

    Work is performed in a normal office setting with minimal exposure to health or safety hazards; substantial time is spent working on a computer.
