- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited program.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Valid Arizona Speech-Language Pathologist license issued by the Arizona Department of Health Services.
- Previous experience working as a Speech Language Pathologist in a school setting, with at least one year of recent experience.
- Knowledge of educational and clinical best practices for assessing and treating speech and language disorders in school-age children.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, parents, teachers, and other professionals.
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students' speech, language, and communication abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' communication goals and needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language disorders, including articulation, phonology, fluency, voice, and language delays/disorders.
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to integrate speech and language goals into the educational curriculum and classroom activities.
- Monitor students' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to achieve desired outcomes.
- Provide education and training to teachers and support staff on strategies to support students' communication skills in the classroom.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions, progress notes, and student outcomes.
