    Role and Responsibilities

    The environmental trainee position at Innospec Oilfield Services involves learning and executing environmental responsibilities within the organization. Working closely with the SHE, ESG, and Fleet Directors, the trainee will be responsible for various tasks:

    • Tier II reporting
    • Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan oversight
    • Loss of containment investigations and reporting
    • SPCC Plan implementation at sites
    • Employee training on SPCC Plan and SWPPP duties
    • Waste profiling for disposal
    • Waste manifest tracking
    • Management of non-hazardous and hazardous waste disposal
    • Monitoring and reporting LOC data
    • Reviewing equipment functionality and efficiencies
    • Assisting in developing SOPs for manufacturing and field operations
    • Supporting in the creation of maintenance procedures
    • Possibility of undertaking other job responsibilities as needed
    • Flexibility to travel as required (25%-30%)

    Role Requirements

    • Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in a Science-related field or relevant job experience
    • Capability to respond in crisis situations and high-pressure environments, adapting quickly to changing priorities
    • Intermediate understanding of US Safety and Environmental regulatory compliance
    • Demonstrated practical knowledge of applicable SHE regulations
