- Assess, monitor, and evaluate patients' renal and neurological status
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Monitor telemetry readings and interpret cardiac rhythms
- Assist in the coordination and provision of patient education and discharge planning
- Document patient information accurately and maintain up-to-date medical records
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in renal and neurology nursing practices and participate in continuing education
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families
- Effectively communicate and collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Valid and unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the state of practice
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an RN in renal/neuro telemetry
- Strong knowledge of renal and neurology nursing principles and practices
- Ability to assess and interpret telemetry readings and cardiac rhythms
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records and other relevant healthcare software
- Care of the patient with Stroke/TIA diagnosis
- Care of the patient with Hemodialysis
- Managing Peritoneal Dialysis
- Acute chest pain -TR Band care and interventions
- Cardiac drips, Heparin drips
- Ability to measure and interpret a telemetry rhythm
- Team nursing approach Our Renal/Neuro Telemetry unit is made of 42 beds, over 2 units on one floor. The team is supported by a Nurse Manager, Unit Based Educator, Unit Coordinator (Charge RN) out of staffing and Patient Care Techs (CNAs)

We are seeking a RN with the following experience:
Pay Rate: $1,818 - $1,899 weekly base on experience
Desired Start Date: ASAP
Length of Assignment: 14
Hours per Week: 36
Shift and Time: 12hr Nights;
Weekend Rotation: Every Other Required
On-call Requirements: None
Holidays Requirements: Required based on unit needs
Floating Requirements: Will float to all acute care units
Experience Required: Minimum 2 years recent
Telemetry experience in the last 18 months in a Hospital setting, Must have a minimum of 1 year travel exp.
License Required: KS RN or Compact RN License
Certificates Required: BLS & ACLS & NIH
