    What You Will Do:
    As a District Manager, you'll oversee a dynamic territory spanning the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, northern Wisconsin, and areas east of St. Paul. Your responsibilities will include:
    1. Coaching and Support:
      • Provide daily coaching to a team of 15+ mobile automotive tool distributors/franchisee owners.
      • Accompany them on pre-scheduled customer route sales calls, offering guidance and motivation.
    2. Sales and Business Management:
      • Offer ongoing sales and business management coaching to distributors, helping them achieve their goals.
      • Analyze business data before sales calls to drive performance improvements and overall operational excellence.
    3. Franchisee Recruitment:
      • Survey, recruit, and qualify potential franchisee prospects for available territories.
      • Present the benefits of Matco's Tool Distribution Franchise, handle objections, and close deals.
    4. Liaison and Communication:
      • Act as a liaison between franchisees and corporate departments (customer service, financial services, sales, etc.).
      • Facilitate effective communication to ensure smooth operations and address any challenges.
    5. Business Reviews and Recommendations:
      • Conduct formal business reviews with franchisees.
      • Identify cause-and-effect relationships, provide actionable countermeasures, and recommend specific, detailed actions for improvement.
    6. Sales Management and Reporting:
      • Utilize MS Office tools for tracking sales results, managing automotive tools inventory, and creating franchisee sales presentations.
    7. Collaboration:
      • Work closely with the Regional Sales Manager and other District Sales Managers to share best practices and drive collective success.
    Sales Experience:
    You bring 5 years of sales experience, demonstrating your ability to drive revenue and build client relationships. Your background in field/route sales, sales management, or automotive tool franchise is a significant advantage.
    Education: You hold a high school diploma, which is a requirement. Additionally, a Bachelor's degree would be desirable for career advancement.
    Home-Based Work: You thrive in a home-based work environment. Using a company laptop, you access a wealth of tools and resources to excel in your role.
    Territory Navigation: You're adept at navigating your assigned territory, holding a valid driver's license and insurance.
    Travel Flexibility: You're prepared for up to 5 hours of daily travel, including occasional overnights (3 or 4 per month) within your territory.
    Communication Skills: Your excellent verbal communication and presentation skills empower you to connect with clients effectively.
    Sales Coaching: You possess strong sales coaching abilities, motivating and guiding others toward success.
    Entrepreneurial Mindset: As a highly disciplined, independent, and confident self-starter, you embrace an entrepreneurial spirit.
    Integrity and Leadership: Your uncompromising personal integrity aligns with your role as a humble, tenacious, and professional leader.
    Tech Proficiency: You have basic MS Office knowledge, and intermediate proficiency would be advantageous.
    Physical Stamina: You can lift up to 50 pounds (with or without accommodations) and handle the physical demands of climbing on and off a mobile tool truck.
    Full-Time Commitment: The position is a salaried + commission, full-time role, requiring a minimum of 40 hours per week and potentially more based on your personal goals and circumstances.
