    Position Description:


    Under the general supervision of the Assistant Director, the Fleet and Motorpool Analyst is responsible for BruinCar Program Coordination and program administration, technical operating systems, customer service, and program support.

    The incumbent is also responsible for the coordination of vehicle rentals and reservations (including commercial rental vehicles) and support services including maintenance, fueling, and cleaning, and vehicle selection and preparation to meet customer expectations.

    These activities also include, but are not limited to vehicle procurement analysis, billing coordination, driver safety initiatives, EPN program, financial reporting, monitoring technical systems (Key Valet), and ensuring that staffing and resources are sufficient to assure quality and timely customer services.

    Provide updates and programmatic status reports on projects and high profile/sensitive customer service issues; maintain, update, communicate, disseminate, and enforce program guidelines, policies, and procedures; review and analyze customer service satisfaction survey results; initiate quality improvement processes; resolve customer conflicts and respond to customer inquiries; write, implement, review, and update policies and procedures for UCLA BruinCar/Motorpool Program.

    Coordinate commercial rental vehicles for customers as a supplement to the UCLA BruinCar Program and manage accident claims and vehicle repairs as needed.

    Process monthly recharges and billing for all customers.

    Incumbent will also conduct ongoing analyses of vehicle utilization, customer demand and quality control, and develop marketing materials to enhance program services and revenues.

    Provide supervision and direction to BruinCar staff to include recruitment, training, and employee development to meet program needs. Determine program effectiveness, making recommendations to achieve departmental goals and objectives.

    Incumbent must possess excellent communication and organizational skills and must demonstrate initiative and discretion to interact with all levels of the University community.
