    Job Summary

    This position will include processing all warranty claims

    Essential FunctionsMaintain a professional appearance and attitude at all timesAid company employees and end users in clarifying warranty obligationsContacts customers as needed to schedule appointments for manufacturer's product improvement programsInteracts with manufacturer's representatives regarding various warranty functionsCoordinates warranty repairs with other departmentsReviews and responds to open work orders designated for warranty as per company policiesPrepare warranty orders to be processed by gathering, sorting, organizing, and recording data, information, and documentsEvaluates warranty by comparing work performed to applicable warrantiesRejects warranty when necessary by preparing written correspondence explaining warranty limitsMeets company standards as they pertain to timely submission of warranty invoicesKeeps information accessible by sorting and filing documents and updating databasesFollows up on warranty receivables to ensure payment in a timely mannerAids in the completion of warranty auditsExpands job knowledge by participating in prescribed training opportunities, and by reading technical publicationsQualifications

    High school diploma requiredAssociates Degree or Bachelor's Degree in business preferred2+ years of relevant experience preferred, from either a service or warranty role in either the heavy equipment or automotive industryGeneral knowledge of diesel engines, powertrain components, and hydraulics is preferredProficient computer skills, including experience with Excel, is preferredCompetency with math and essential financial calculations for invoicingOnline billing experienceExcellent customer service/communication skills requiredStrong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritizeAbility to analyze and comprehend a significant volume of informationAbility to address problems and facilitate successful outcomesAbility to accept additional tasks, duties and/or direction from managementAbility to read, interpret, and speak English; Spanish a plusHas a focus on qualityPossesses integrity
