Join a leading construction firm based in Las Vegas Nevada managing a diverse portfolio of commercial government and private construction projects As an SBA 8a certified company we are committed to the highest standards of safety quality and performance We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Civil Project Engineer Intern to join our team as soon as possible This role is ideal for a recent graduate or current student pursuing an MS in Civil Engineering or Construction Management with the opportunity to begin in an internship capacity and transition into a permanent role based on performance Key Responsibilities Assist with project planning budgeting and cost control to support on-time delivery Support the review of subcontractor bids and provide technical input for estimating Coordinate with subcontractors suppliers maintain workflow quality standards Assist in interpreting construction drawings specifications blueprints Prepare manage project documentation submittals RFIs progress reports Track project milestones help identify potential risks management reporting Assist monitor site safety compliance building codes Utilize Primavera PlanSwift project management software scheduling dispatch record-keeping Participate site meetings support technical problem-solving activities Qualifications Currently enrolled recently graduated Construction Management Civil Engineering related program Preference given candidates UNLV UNR CSN Proficiency Microsoft Office Excel Word Outlook Strong written verbal communication skills Excellent organizational skills attention detail multitasking Self-motivated strong willingness learn Knowledge Primavera PlanSwift estimating exposure plus Benefits Health insurance Paid time off Professional growth mentorship opportunities Potential full-time conversion based performance
