    Job Description

    The main goal of this role is to handle Tax Sale/Resale proceeds resulting from foreclosure-property auctions conducted by Constables or legal firms in a timely manner.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conduct research on property sale details.
    • Verify sale costs against paid expenses.
    • Review property descriptions and deeds.
    • Input data into payment records.
    • Settle outstanding costs.
    • Distribute proceeds to relevant parties.
    • Retrieve and print necessary documents.
    • Assess tax payment requirements.
    • Ensure accuracy of all financial data.
    • Update Oracle Check Tracking system.
    • Generate zero balance reports upon request.
    • Rectify any mistakes made by others.
    • Review and approve payment records.
    • Organize and dispatch sale check payments.
    • Label recipients for outgoing payments.
    • Support special payments clerk as necessary.
    • Perform other assigned tasks.

    Requirements:

    • Effective prioritization and problem-solving abilities.
    • Willingness to acquire new skills and learn specialized software.
    • Positive attitude and approach.
    • Proficiency in various software like OUTLOOK, WORD, EXCEL, ACCESS, ORACLE, ACT.
    • Typing speed of 40 WPM.
    • Ability to collaborate within a team.
    • Keen attention to detail.
    • Persistence in completing tasks.
    • Comfort with numerical data.
    • Capability to resolve discrepancies through research.
    • Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
    • Review sale transmittals prepared by colleagues.
