- Guide clients through complex estate and trust administration and litigation, providing expert legal advice and support in a range of related matters.
- Handle estate and trust litigation cases in Surrogates, Civil, and Supreme court, including contested accounting and wrongful death proceedings.
- Provide counsel in intestate and probate administration, and representation or removal of fiduciaries.
- Advise on elder law/Medicaid planning and protect beneficiary rights in kinship proceedings.
- JD from an accredited law school and admission to the New York State Bar.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in estate and trust litigation (Surrogates, Civil, and Supreme litigation experience required).
- Trial experience is a plus
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- High academic achievements with a record of excellence in legal education.
