Description

Washman Car Wash is seeking a Network Technician II to maintain, expand, and secure computer network systems. This individual works on implementing and supporting current and future network needs essential for the business.

You will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the organization's network, troubleshooting when necessary, and making necessary improvements to the network. Ensuring Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliance is also part of the role. The position involves travel between car wash locations and HQ offices, as well as fieldwork at sites to update the IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities of the Network Technician II position include:

Installation and support of various technologies such as computers, AV devices, phones, printers, Wi-Fi, and more.
Configuration and maintenance of network devices like routers, firewalls, switches, and voice equipment.
Assisting in the enforcement of network and security policies.
Remotely troubleshooting issues and monitoring system performance.
Performing network maintenance, upgrades, and diagnosing problems.
Reporting network status and managing related projects.
Providing tier 2-3 level support, documenting guides, and identifying process improvement opportunities.
Managing ad hoc projects and supporting end-user requests.

Requirements for the Network Technician II position:

Associates or bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Networking, or related field.
Relevant experience in Microsoft Server, IT fieldwork, and network administration.
Knowledge of network protocols, systems, and hand tools.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
Proficiency in customer service and PC technical skills.
Ability to create network documentation, troubleshoot various network devices, and work under pressure.
Experience with LAN, WAN, and ability to carry out physical tasks.
Effective communication with team members and flexibility in work hours.
