    Reporting to the VP of Operations, we are seeking an experienced Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Manager to join our team in the aftermarket collision auto parts industry. An EHS Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive environmental, health, and safety programs that ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. The EHS Manager's primary goal will be to create a safe and healthy work environment for our employees while minimizing our environmental impact.

    The EHS Manager plays a pivotal role in creating a safer and more sustainable future for the

    aftermarket collision auto parts industry. A successful candidate will contribute to our mission of maintaining the highest standards of environmental health and safety.

    Duties/Responsibilities:

    Develop and Implement EHS Programs:


    • Design, develop, and implement comprehensive EHS programs, policies, and procedures specific to

    the aftermarket collision auto parts industry.


    • Establish guidelines and protocols for workplace safety, hazardous material handling, waste

    management, and environmental sustainability.


    • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential hazards, assess risks, and ensure

    compliance with applicable regulations and standards.

    Compliance and Regulatory Affairs:


    • State, and federal regulations pertaining to environmental protection,

    workplace safety, and hazardous material management.


    • Monitor and maintain compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry

    standards.


    • Act as a liaison with regulatory agencies, ensuring all required permits, licenses, and

    reporting is obtained and submitted accurately and on time.

    Training and Education:


    • Develop and deliver EHS training programs for employees, focusing on safety procedures, hazard

    identification, and emergency response protocols.


    • Promote a culture of safety awareness and environmental responsibility through ongoing

    communication, training sessions, and engagement initiatives.

    Incident Investigation and Risk Management:


    • Lead investigations into accidents, incidents, and near misses to identify root causes and

    implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.


    • Develop and maintain an incident reporting system, ensuring all incidents are properly

    documented and analyzed.


    • Conduct risk assessments and implement risk management strategies to minimize workplace hazards

    and potential environmental impacts.

    Waste Management and Sustainability:


    • Develop and oversee waste management programs, including hazardous waste disposal, recycling

    initiatives, and pollution prevention.


    • Implement strategies to minimize environmental impact, reduce energy consumption, and promote

    sustainability practices.

    Continuous Improvement:


    • Monitor key performance indicators related to EHS and recommend improvements to enhance safety,

    efficiency, and sustainability.


    • Stay informed about emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in EHS management within

    the collision auto parts industry.


    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS considerations into new processes,

    projects, and product development.

    Required Skills/Abilities:


    • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial

    Hygiene, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.


    • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., Certified Safety Professional, Certified Industrial

    Hygienist) are highly desirable.


    • Proven experience in EHS management, preferably within the aftermarket collision auto parts

    industry or a related manufacturing environment.


    • In-depth knowledge of environmental regulations (e.g., EPA, OSHA), safety standards (e.g., NFPA,

    ANSI), and hazardous material management.


    • Strong understanding of risk assessment methodologies, incident investigation techniques, and

    root cause analysis.


    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate and

    influence stakeholders at all levels.


    • Proficient in analyzing and interpreting complex data, developing reports, and making

    data-driven recommendations.


    • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and

    drive continuous improvement.


    • Familiarity with sustainability practices and a commitment to promoting environmental

    stewardship.


    • Experience working with regulatory agencies and conducting audits/inspections is highly

    desirable.

    priorities and effectively managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.


    • Collaboration and Influence: Collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams, regulatory

    agencies, and other stakeholders, and possesses strong influencing skills to drive EHS initiatives

    and gain support from key stakeholders.


    • Continuous Learning: Demonstrates a passion for staying updated on industry trends, emerging

    regulations, and best practices in EHS management, and applies this knowledge to improve processes

    and drive continuous improvement.


    • Technical Competence: Possesses a solid understanding of relevant EHS regulations, standards,

    and practices and keeps abreast of advancements in technology and tools used for EHS management.


    • Resilience: Maintains composure and resilience in high-pressure situations, demonstrating the

    ability to make sound decisions and take appropriate action in emergency response scenarios.


    • Organizational Skills: Demonstrates strong organizational and time management skills to

    prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and effectively allocate resources.

    by pursuing relevant certifications, attending training programs, and participating in industry

    conferences and associations.

    Up to 50%
