    Description
    Insight Global is seeking a Release Engineer III for one of our largest retail clients.

    To be qualified for this role, you must be local to Minneapolis, MN and willing to work onsite in Richfield 1-2x a week.

    In this role, you will focus on five primary responsibilities: 1. Release management 2. GitHub Actions Configuration 3. Artifact Management 4. Documentation and communication and 5. Troubleshooting and support. This is an extremely hands-on role that will require strong communication skills and willingness to collaborate.

    Required Skills & Experience

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
    • 4 to 7 years of experience in software release engineering.
    • Proficiency in configuring and managing GitHub Actions workflows.
    • Strong knowledge of CI/CD concepts and tools.
    • Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python).
    • Experience with version control systems (Git, GitHub).
    • Understanding of containerization (Docker) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
    • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Ability to work effectively in crossfunctional teams.
    • Excellent communication skills for documenting processes and interacting with stakeholders.

    Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
