    Description

    LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a full-time Insurance A/R Rep for a client in Phoenix, AZ, on a contract-to-hire basis. The client requires a representative for insurance collections, reviewing and interpreting EOBs, and someone to make phone calls and speak to claim status.

    This position is located in Phoenix, AZ and is onsite. Key Responsibilities:
    • Oversee day-to-day billing and collections operations to optimize efficiency.
    • Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, ensuring adherence to billing and collection standards and procedures.
    • Develop and execute plans to ensure accurate billing, pursuing reimbursements until full payment is received.
    • Generate regular A/R aging reports and maintain essential logs to ensure timely resolution of A/R balances.
    • Review billing error reports, conducting root cause analyses and implementing solutions in a timely manner.
    • Manage escalation of delinquent accounts with payers.
    • Review and manage payer credits promptly.
    • Monitor and complete enrollment and payer portals to facilitate timely billing.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
    • Monitor, analyze, and manage changes in billing regulations/requirements, communicating the impact to clients and providing training to the team.
    • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or assigned.


    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
    • 3+ years of experience in physician billing and receivables management.
    • Proficiency in Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial Insurance billing and authorizations.
    • Preferred experience in team management.
    • Knowledge of various EMR and Practice Management systems, with preference given to Athenahealth.
    • Advanced skills in MS Office Suite.

    Compensation: $22-$26, DOE

    Job Type : Contract to hire
