Job Description

The Center Line Superintendent (Gas & Steam) is responsible for supervising the installation,
alignment,and assembly of gas and steam turbine centerline components on industrial construction sites.This role oversees craft laborand ensures all work is executed in accordance with project specifications,OEM requirements,safety protocols,and applicable labor agreements.The Center Line Superintendent coordinates closely with project management,field engineering,and quality control personnel to ensure alignment with construction schedules,maintain workmanship standards,and support mechanical completion and turnover.

Key Responsibilities:

• Directall aspects of gas and steam turbine centerline installation,includingsuchas generatoralignment/load coupling/bearings/torque tubes/diaphragms/casingassembly


• Ensureprecisionalignment,torsue/clearances/installationtolerancesper OEMspecifications


• Cordinatelauxiliarysystemsincludinglube oil/hydraulic/turninggearandsteamsealsystems


• Suptiveandecoordinationunioncraftlabourinaccordancewithjurisdictionalrulesandexcollectivebargainingagreements
