    Our Impact:

    • We build data platforms and capabilities that enable self-service data analytics, reporting, model development, machine learning and support data discovery, quality, lineage and governance
    • We manage and enhance Big Data and Data Warehouse platforms, collaborate with teams and leadership within IT and with business partners to advance our technical capabilities and provide data solutions that drive business results
    • We create Proof of Concepts (PoCs) to illustrate how cutting-edge technologies can be incorporated and enhance Freddie Mac's technology offerings

    Your Impact:

    • Build a Data platform product vision and be capable of blending the needs from enterprise wide technical & business groups into a product road map
    • Lead the creation of self-service analytics and data science platform
    • Lead, design and collaborate with architecture teams to align with Enterprise Data and Application architecture standards
    • Develop best practices for data science and modeling
    • Build and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture
    • Maintain and enhance data exploration architecture, design principles, CI/CD deployment procedures

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree in computer science or IT, Advanced degree preferred
    • 10+ years of overall experience
    • 5+ years of relevant large-scale enterprise transformation experience as relates to data science and machine learning is preferred
    • Familiarity with Python, R, Pandas, Spark and SQL.
    • Solid understanding on Statistical and Quantitative modeling techniques
    • Exposure to Probability and Decision theory, Operations Research techniques
    • In-depth knowledge and delivery of advanced analytical approaches
    • Prior experience in the primary or secondary mortgage industry is desirable
    • Deep knowledge of various enterprise level Platforms widely used in the industry

    • Highly motivated and energetic self-starter with solid organizational and time management skills; proven experience operating at high standards of quality and accuracy within a fast-paced changing environment
    • Superb communication, leadership and relationship management skills, that enable partnering with and influencing key customers in an open, collaborative environment at all levels in an organization
    • Technical leadership with knowledge of both legacy and modern cloud based distributed systems
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to succinctly present complex subject matter, specifically translating technology problems/solutions to business partners

    The anticipated annualized base salary range for this position is $142,000 to $214,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program.
