    Retail Manager San Francisco, California At Hudson Pacific Properties, we develop, own, and operate iconic office and retail properties on the West Coast, and we're seeking an experienced Retail Manager to join our San Francisco team at The Ferry Building . The Retail Manager helps existing tenants improve their concepts and sales, and attract new tenants that help to refresh the Ferry Building Marketplace brands and increase their performance economically, culturally, and socially. Are you looking to use your expertise in retail management Guide tenants in the layout of their store, merchandising of their products, and design of signage to ensure high aesthetic standards and an enhanced customer experience both through the new store co n struction and opening process and on an ongoing basis. * Develop/refine merchandising and design standards for each retailer and work with HPPs Construction Team to ensure that the design and construction of new tenant spaces align with those standards

    Secure merchant participation for programming events (sampling, demos, offers, displays, etc.)

    Work with new merchants on executing shop Grand Opening Events

    Follow up with retailers after events to determine results/metrics

    Uphold an exceptional visual presentation and design standards for the retail zones of the property

    Minimum of five (5) years of experience with retail leasing, merchandising, and related programming in high-volume F&B environments . Deep connections to the F&B ecosystem of the Bay Area, including an ability to forge deep relationships with architects, chefs, restaurateurs, product producers, and culinary programs . Deep knowledge of the past, current, and future restaurant and retail landscape of the Bay Area . An ability to be highly entrepreneurial, i.e., to identify and execute opportunities for value creation . Dynamic team player , i.e., an ability to work with staff at all levels on-site and across divisions at HPP . An understanding of the role marketing, PR , and social media play in the success of retail and restaurant tenants.
