Our innovative chip-based solution seamlessly merges biochemistry with state-of-the-art photonics, electronics, and microfluidics.

We are in search of a photonics intern to be part of our R&D team for a minimum of 3 months. This role provides a chance to contribute to our hardware advancements while acquiring practical experience in a lively medtech startup.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed optical measurements and functional biosensing experiments to analyze the effectiveness of photonic devices
• Construct and enhance experimental setups for efficient light coupling into optical chips
• Analyze data obtained from wafer and chip characterization to evaluate and improve device performance
• Record results and clearly communicate findings and insights to the team

Qualifications and Skills:

• B.S., M.S. or PhD. in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, Optics, or a related discipline
• Hands-on experience with integrated optics
• Proficiency in using tools for photonic characterization such as lasers, photodetectors, and data acquisition systems
• Programming skills in Python
• Background in biosensors would be advantageous
