Seeking a highly skilled Network Security Engineer to join my client's team.

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in managed services, experience with Palo Alto firewalls, and be CCNP certified.

This role requires a proactive individual with excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.

Key Network Security Engineer Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and manage network security solutions for clients.
Configure and maintain Palo Alto firewalls, ensuring optimal performance and security.
Monitor network traffic for suspicious activity and respond to security incidents.
Perform regular security assessments and vulnerability testing.
Develop and enforce security policies and procedures.
Collaborate with clients to understand their network security needs and provide tailored solutions.
Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, technologies, and best practices.
Provide technical support and training to clients and team members.

Requirements:
Proven experience in a network security engineering role within a managed services environment.
In-depth knowledge of PaloAlto firewalls, including configuration and management.
CCNP certification is required.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel to client sites as needed.
Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and other security technologies.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:
Additional certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or PaloAlto Networks certifications.
Experience with other firewall technologies and security tools.
Familiarity with cloud security solutions (AWS, Azure, etc.).
