    Role Summary:
    In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in shaping the backbone of our data infrastructure.

    Your expertise in Snowflake, combined with your proficiency in ETL processes, will drive the development, optimization, and maintenance of robust data pipelines and architectures.

    This role is crucial in leveraging Snowflake's capabilities to manage and maximize the value of our data assets, ensuring efficient data integration and insightful, data-driven decision-making to enhance business operations.


    Key Responsibilities:


    Design, build, and maintain efficient, reliable data pipelines within the Snowflake environment, ensuring seamless data integration from various sources, including APIs and other integrations.

    Develop and optimize Snowflake-specific features such as Snowpipes, virtual warehouses, and data sharing to enhance data processing and analytics capabilities.

    Implement and manage Snowflake's data storage solutions, ensuring scalability, performance, and cost-effectiveness.
    Conduct thorough analysis and organization of raw data, transforming it into actionable insights to support predictive and prescriptive modeling.

    Expertly manage the ETL process:
    Extract data from disparate sources, Transform it to fit operational needs, and Load it into Snowflake.
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, aligning data architecture and analytics strategies with organizational objectives.
    Perform complex statistical analysis and algorithm development to extract meaningful information from large datasets.
    Establish and enforce data governance, security policies, and compliance standards within the Snowflake framework.
    Monitor and ensure the high quality, integrity, and reliability of data throughout its lifecycle in Snowflake.
    Proactively identify and implement improvements to existing data systems and processes for enhanced efficiency and performance.
    Provide technical leadership and mentorship in Snowflake best practices, tools, and technologies, with a focus on ETL processes.


    Qualifications / Skills:
    Experience in Snowflake preferred, including experience in building and managing data within this platform.

    Strong proficiency in SQL and programming languages such as Python or Java, with a specific focus on writing scripts for ETL processes.

    Solid background in data engineering, data warehousing, and data integration.
    Thorough understanding of data governance, security, and compliance in the context of cloud-based data solutions.
    Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented mindset.
    Strong communication skills, capable of effectively collaborating with both technical and non-technical teams.

    Position type and expected hours of work
    This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are typically Monday through Friday,8/ 9:00 a.m. to 5/6 p.m.

    The home office is located in Brentwood, TN and team members are required to work in the office 5 days per week.
