    DevOps EngineerOur Technology Services client is looking to hire a DevOps Engineer for a 6-month contract with the possibility of extension.

    This position may be remote, but applicants should be able to work onsite in Quincy, MA, should the need arise.

    Applicants must be local to New England and able to work onsite when needed to be eligible for this position.

    Triage and debug build and deployment issuesCommunicate with Application Development and Infrastructure teams to coordinate releasesCollaborate with Application and System Engineers to create and enforce standards for application delivery and maintenanceAssess release processes and implement improvements to expand capabilities and increase reliability where possibleMaintain ongoing awareness of industry developments to ensure release engineering practices remain as efficient and effective as possibleLead and oversee production implementationsQualifications:Must have at least 5 years of release engineering or equivalent DevOps experienceExcellent debugging and problem-solving skillsStrong scripting and/or coding skillsDemonstrated ability to identify and correct inefficiencies with release processesExperience with ANT, Maven, Subversion, GIT, PVCSExperience with Oracle, MS SQL Server, and IBM WebSphereKnowledge of VBScript, Perl, Python, and/or related programming languagesKnowledge/experience with continuous integration tools such as UDeploy, Jenkins, Chef, puppet, etc.
