- Providing construction oversight and management on various infrastructure including transportation, water, wastewater, and stormwater related projects.
- Oversees field staff and contractors on the project site and is responsible to ensure quality construction in accordance with plans and specifications.
- Manage activities such as layout, inspection, documentation and pay estimates as well as project closeout/resolve material deficiencies.
- Providing technical advice when warranted to the design and construction of the projects.
- Communicating and coordinating effectively with clients, contractors, and stakeholders
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management is preferred, however not required
- PE license or EIT is preferred, however not required
- Experience and certification may be substituted for the licensure
- Job related certifications (i.e., IDOT and CMMS) are preferred, however not required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A valid driver's license
