- Serves Students. Assist in the enrollment process, financial aid, cashiering, and testing.
- Provide information and explain policies, procedures, rules, and regulations to student-faculty, staff, and the general public by phone, in person, or through public presentations.
- Assist in providing clerical support to the department. Process correspondence to students, faculty, and staff.
- Assist in the handling of all confidential materials about students' records. Support document imaging and maintenance of student records.
- Assist faculty in providing them with the necessary equipment for class instruction before class.
- Schedule appointments for testing, advising, and Discover AWC Sessions.
- Assist in South Yuma County outreach efforts.
- Participate in South Yuma County events such as Career Day, Transfer Fair Reg Fest, and Community of Learners Celebration.
- Support and participate in strategic planning initiatives and performs other duties as assigned.
- High School graduate or equivalent
- One-year clerical work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Bilingual and proficient in both English and Spanish

- Part-time, up to 19 hours per week
- Monday - Thursday, 8:00 AM-6:00 PM
- May include some Fridays, evenings, and weekends
- Ability to perform basic computer operations
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate, organize, and communicate with a diverse population
- Professional experience with confidentiality and the handling of sensitive information
- Knowledge of Arizona Western College
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficient with Windows and Zoom
- Knowledge of how to operate printers and copy machines
- Inside office environment with normal noise and lighting levels
- Various noise levels for outdoors and event settings
- Able to lift 25 lbs. unassisted on an occasional basis
- Prolonged sitting and viewing of a computer
- Long periods of standing and/or walking
- 5% travel to other campus locations
- San Luis Learning Center, San Luis Technology Institute, and Somerton Center
