RCS Corporation has an immediate need for a Senior Engineer, P&C in Knoxville, TN. This is a Full-time, Direct Hire, Hybrid assignment with our client.

Overview of YOUR role as a Senior Engineer, P&C:
The Senior Engineer, P&C will be expected to be familiar with all major control schemes associated with Power Substations P&C design as well as Line/Circuit protection schemes. The successful candidate will work in an in-office (hybrid basis), collaborative team environment to provide engineered P&C designs for constructability of Power Substations ranging in voltage levels from 34.5K to 500kV.

As a Senior Engineer, P&C YOU will:

Perform P&C design with a high degree of accuracy (Quality)
Work well as a team member as well as individually
Use MicroStation to create the assigned deliverables
Interact with the Customer and meet their schedule and budgeting requirements
Mentor junior Engineers/Designers
Review work of other team members
Perform work safely.

YOU are the ideal Senior Engineer, P&C if you have:

Ability to read Power System One-Line Diagrams
Experience designing the full complement of Substation P&C design drawings including development of: relay diagrams, three-line diagrams, AC & DC elementaries, front and rear panel views, wiring diagrams and communications diagrams.
Able to lead design projects from conceptual through completion of constructible design.

It's a BONUS if you have:

Bentley MicroStation and/or AutoCAD Electrical
Professional Engineering (PE) license
Engineer in Training (EIT)
