About the Role

We are hiring passionate individuals to become Special Education Paraprofessionals in a school setting. In this role, you will:

Work 1:1 or in small groups with students
Use ABA strategies (training provided) to build communication, academic, social, and life skills
Help reduce challenging behaviors and support positive growth
Implement behavior plans under the supervision of a BCBA and teachers
Collect data and support IEP goals

What We're Looking For

A genuine passion for helping students with special needs
Patience, empathy, and calmness under pressure
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Dependability and professionalism
Willingness to learn and receive feedback

Education:

High school diploma or GED required
Bachelor's degree (education, psychology, ABA, related field) preferred but not required

Experience:

Experience with children or special needs is helpful
No ABA experience required — we train you

Physical & Work Environment

This is an active, hands-on role. You may:

Lift up to 50 lbs
Kneel, squat, sit, or stand for extended periods
Assist with toileting (PPE provided)
Respond to student escalations using trained CPI techniques
Working with students that may display aggressive behaviors

You will receive proper training to feel safe and confident in all situations.
