    Production Manager

    Reports to

    Operations Manager

    Salary: $83K - $105K Bonus: 10-15%

    Job Description:

    • Coach, mentor, and develop team members in the planning and execution of manufacturing objectives to achieved goals in safety, quality, cost, and service
    • Leverage skills in leadership, continuous improvement, project management, and team building to develop strategies and tactics to ensure success for production
    • Drive continuous improvement efforts to facilitate the goal of 0 IFR year-after-year
    • Work with Operations Manager to develop budget and strategic plans
    • Lead efforts to create and sustain readiness pipelines with the operation
    • In conjunction with Team Leader(s), lead hiring teams and onboarding
    • Maintain dual ownership with Team Leader(s) on performance, reviews, development, personal development commitments, and disciplinary issues that occur on the production floor
    • Facilitate and lead new product and new technology implementation teams across the facility
    • Promote and instill a culture of personal learning and professional development to ensure success of team members
    • Deliver continuous improvement in safety, quality, cost, and service
    • Facilitate and drive goal and objective planning with teams
    • Enhance partnerships with raw materials suppliers
    • Identify and share best practices across the facility and network
    • Work with Schedule and Team Leader(s) on weekly product scheduling
    • Occasionally spend time on other shifts to enhance flexibility

    Qualifications:

    • BS/BA required
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in leadership/coaching with significant involvement in development team members
    • Production manufacturing experience required; food manufacturing experience strongly preferred
    • Skilled in continuous improvement methodologies (5S, Lean, Six Sigma, etc.) to improve products and processes
    • Demonstrated knowledge/skills in budgeting, capital planning, capacity planning, and productivity pipeline projects
    • Bilingual (English-Spanish) preferred
