Associate Account Manager
Summary of Job Description:
This position will support National Sales Director in managing assigned Home Center / Hardware accounts in line with organizational strategy, goals, policies and processes.
· Provide high level customer service to our manufacturing partners and retail partners
· Oversea new product setup process to meet desired deadlines
· Oversea sales orders and shipments between manufacturing and retail partners
· Effectively track and recap promotional events and new product launches
· Assist in the design and development of sales presentation to support sales and business reviews with manufacturing and retail partners
· Coordinate product samples and presentation material
· Track competitive retails through comp shops and retail store audits
· Ability to track and analyze weekly sales data
· Create action plans based on sales and market trends
· Attend manufacturing and retail partner business meeting reviews, including category line reviews
· Track inventory demand and develop forecast recommendation to improve overall inventory trends
· Participate in customer store walks and new product launches
· Attend Trade Shows as needed
Qualifications / Requirements
· Bachelor's Degree in Sales or Marketing preferred
· 1 to 2 years account manager experience
· 2 to 3 years retail hardware experience
· Proficient MS office applications including, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
· Must have extensive knowledge of excel
· Excellent oral and written communication skills
· Strong customer relationship skills
· Ability to proactively work independently
· Positive and energetic attitude
· Business travel limited
