- Perform chemistry and/or physical sample preparation and testing.
- Analyze and report laboratory data, verifying interpretation with more senior Technicians or leadership.
- Responsible for equipment operation, calibration, cleaning and minor maintenance.

- Starting pay at $21.15/hr
- Rotating position between days and nights: 6am-6pm, and 6pm-6am
- Holiday payand Double time on Sundays
- $1.50/hour shift differential between the hours of 6:00 pm - 6:00 am
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate's Degree or some coursework in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology preferred.
- Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
- Ability to walk, stand, bend and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Experience with both metric and standard systems of measurement required.
- Basic computer skills with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and field-specific software
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrate excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, establish priorities, ability to multitask, and meet deadlines.
- Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with colleagues.
