    Position Overview:

    As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in overseeing our financial operations and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. You will be responsible for leading month-end and year-end closing processes, preparing financial statements, analyzing financial data, and providing strategic insights to senior management. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead month-end and year-end closing procedures, including preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules.
    • Conduct thorough reviews of financial data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
    • Perform complex account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
    • Analyze financial performance and trends, providing actionable insights to senior management.
    • Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions.
    • Maintain compliance with GAAP and other relevant accounting standards.
    • Coordinate and assist with internal and external audits.
    • Mentor and train junior accounting staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and enhance efficiency.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
    • CPA certification preferred.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with a focus on financial reporting and analysis.
    • Thorough understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting requirements.
    • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle.
    • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with financial modeling.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
    • Proven leadership abilities, with experience in mentoring and developing junior staff.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
