    JOB SUMMARY:
    Under minimal supervision, the Sr.

    IT/OT Network Systems Administrator is responsible for network administrative functions and technical support of the company's IT/OT network including all related applications, hardware and supporting technologies.

    The Sr.

    IT/OT Network Systems Administrator performs technical support and maintenance of company software and systems in maintaining a robust and effective network architecture for the company's underlying network infrastructure.

    Additionally, this position coordinates entire lifecycle management of the company's network including all routers, switches, firewalls and supporting systems.


    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
    Work with key stakeholders, various vendors, IT/OT Management to understand business and systems requirements.

    Assist and cross-train with other system and network administrators.

    Manage lifecycle of network including LAN/WAN/VPN.

    Provide direct support and monitoring of network infrastructure.

    Design, implement, and manage change control to ensure a resilient network.


    Work with company Security Operations Center (SOC) to coordinate incident management/response and analysis of network related events and assist SOC in mitigating discovered network threats.

    Design, implement, and manage network access controls that strictly follow company policies and industry best practices.

    Conduct daily security monitoring activities, escalating incidents as dictated by company's incident response plan.

    Supervise the activities of on-site vendors or technicians.

    Prepare technical reports and instructional manuals.

    Keep up-to-date on new emerging technologies.

    Coordinate small to medium size projects.


    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
    Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, or any Engineering field preferred. Experience of an advanced level in relevant areas may be substituted.

    Four years or more of directly relevant experience.

    Detailed knowledge and experience with:
    Router, switch, and wireless network technology.

    Network design and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF).

    Advanced network troubleshooting skills.

    Familiarity with Network Access Control (NAC) systems

    Familiarity with Voice over IP (VoIP) networking.

    Firewall administration including IPS and rulesets.

    Experience with PC/Intel server hardware platforms.

    Windows system administration. Linux a plus.

    Professional or expert experience in managing IP networks and related protocols

    Automation/scripting skills (PowerShell, bash, python, etc.)


    Must possess a valid driver's license and be qualified to operate a vehicle under the conditions of the Safe Driving Policy.

    Ability to pass a background, past employment, credit, drug, and driving record screening.

    AND ABILITIES:
    Time management, analytical, project management, and organizational skills.

    Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet strict deadlines.

    Good working knowledge of various infrastructure technologies, communication protocols, and networking operating systems presently used by ENSTAR. Ability to learn new applications.

    Excellent written and oral communication skills as well as listening skills.

    Excellent interpersonal skills.

    Must be able to provide effective change-management skills regarding technology upgrades that will effectuate change to support the ENSTAR's goals.
