- Application of structural engineering and detailing techniques associated with the
- Conducts analyses to develop design options or recommendations and assists in
- Performs routine engineering assignments requiring application of standard
- Works independently on small assignments and assists Senior Engineers on
- Works closely with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects.
- Additional duties include participating in building inspections as required
- Working understanding of AISC, IBC, ACI, and ASCE 7 design standards.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and/or REVIT.
- Proficiency in REVIT is a plus.
- Knowledge of structural analysis software such as STAAD Pro and Tekla
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task, appropriately prioritize workflow and complete tasks on
- Excellent time management skills
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering with a from an accredited four-year college or universityCERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES REQUIRED
- Engineer-in-Training certificate or ability to obtain within 6-months

Job DescriptionEngineering TechnicianAn Engineering Technician is a professional with 0 - 3 years engineering experience.
This position will be responsible to work with a team of engineers for the design and
production of construction documents for building facilities of various uses and
construction materials, including replacement or rehabilitation for structures. This
position will also conduct inspections of existing building facilities, including report
preparation.

Valid Driver's LicensePHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by

equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax. Work
