    The SOUL of a development worker the mentality of equipping people to help themselvesThe Information Systems Security Manager will work to protect HOPE Internationals digital assets from cyberattacks.

    This will be accomplished by establishing security standards, monitoring the network for security breaches and investigating them, implementing security software, performing vulnerability assessments, and creating security practices for HOPE International and our global network.

    The Information Systems Security Manager will help to mature HOPE Internationals security broadly and DLP (Data Loss Prevention) and will work closely with the IT Department to learn current tools, research new technologies, and suggest a roadmap for HOPE Internationals program.

    This person will also work with the security teams at HOPE Internationals Microfinance institutions to develop their skills and improve their security.

    Senior ProfessionalSalary range: $67,000-$77,000Type: Full-timeDepartment: Information TechnologyReports to: Director of ITResponsibilities Promote and fulfill the mission and vision of HOPE InternationalWork with current systemManage current security team, interns and fellowsAnalyze and aggregate data loss prevention data to support the enhancement/tuning of existing policies and determine additional controlsDefine, implement, and support process and technology improvements related to preventing unauthorized disclosure, modification, removal, or destruction of informationDrive Data Classification ProjectReview compliance with current policies and create remediation plansEvaluate new products to ensure they meet HOPE Internationals standards for data protection and securityLead all new security initiativesResearch and propose tools to enhance workflows, classifications, and reportingProvide technical advice and input for the support of integrated security systems and solutionsWork with Director of IT to present findings and recommendations to upper managementNetwork and system monitoringOversee periodic risk assessments and penetration testingConsult with HOPE-led programsWork with programs to supplement local cybersecurity initiativesQualifications Personal confession of Christian faith and commitment to the mission and vision of HOPE InternationalA degree in the field of computer science, information technology/systems, or equivalent experience/training5 years of professional experience requiredExperience with desktop and server operating systems, including Microsoft Windows, Mac OS, and Windows ServerExperience setting security policies and implementationGood knowledge of Active Directory, Azure Active Directory and management toolsBroad range of knowledge and experience with Security and System ArchitectureSecurity+ and/or CISSP certification preferredExperience working on cross-cultural teams (desired)At HOPE International, we invest in the dreams of families in the world's underserved communities as we proclaim and live the Gospel
