- Draw blood for ABG, understanding and using related machines.
- Perform EKG, SVN treatments and BiPAP/CPAP therapy.
- Administer proper drug and oxygen therapy
- Provide and maintain ventilation equipment
- Evaluate patients regarding auscultation, SAO2 readings and oral interview techniques.
- Assist with intubations.
- Perform outpatient studies as needed.
- Participate in patient education.
- Maintain all records pertinent to patient care.
- As assigned.
- Requires thorough knowledge of the cardiopulmonary system.
- Skills as required for RRT/CRT license.
- Education - Graduate of an accredited respiratory program recognized by the NBRC and AARC.
- Work Experience - N/A
- Training - per licensure.
- License/Certification - Current State of New Mexico CRT and/or RRT; BLS and ACLS certifications required.
